I thought the GPS took me on a wrong turn. I drove past the stadium, into a residential area and viola!, this oh so very, unpretentious, local area restaurant was sitting on the corner looking ever so attractive. I hurried to get parked. I was so pleased by the atmosphere and couldn't wait to get settled. Once my company and I got settled, outside, we ordered the items mentioned above. While we waited, I noticed how peaceful and quiet the area was. Awwwww, this is going to be a really nice experience. The neighbors that leave near this restaurant are some lucky folks. I ordered the Hawaiian croque. I've never had that sandwich before, so I definitely had to try it. It was good. I think what really did it for me was the fact that the restaurant makes their own bread. Fantastic! The more homemade, the better. My company enjoyed their sandwich too. Our meals, and the atmosphere, made this place a win win. Stop on by. P.S. - I saw some really delicious looking desserts in the cooler by the door. Yeah, I know your mouth just watered with the thought of dessert.

This place was amazing , a really cool vibe. The service was on point. The food was made just right. If you're on a date, get the steak dinner for 2. You'll be amazed, too.

Located in North Augusta just 5 minutes from downtown Augusta Ga. The neighborhood has the feel of a small seashore village. A beautiful neighborhood full of trees and parks is ideal for bike rides, walks and pet walks. The food at Manuels is delicious and reasonably priced. The wife and I plan to come back for drinks and something from their wide assortment of deserts. Whether it's for the food or the ambiance, we highly recommend this place.

The restaurant isn't huge but also has outside seating in nice weather. I had the "crispy crispy flounder" (that was huge) & prepared bone-in & skin on. Had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc (no full bar). It's interesting that drink & dessert menus are on a couple of iPads that must be passed around the restaurant as other diners finish with them. Desserts homemade. Got a tasty slab of coconut cake. Very good cake but odd to have cream cheese icing on this one. I think a buttercream or traditional Southern Royal icing would work better. Server took good care throughout.

Ambiance It's Sunday, it's a long waiting line, if no reservations . 15-20 min Back ground music ... jazz..... good. Outdoor seating I Salmon salad. Delicious Creme Brule French today. A little iffy Service Excellent. Will come again

Great place for Brunch! Not my first experience but it's been a good minute since my last visit. We got here as soon as they opened to beat the crowd. It's a holiday weekend and I know they would have been crowded. We usually sit outside because their outdoor seating is nice. However, it was a bit chilly this morning so we were inside. I ordered a Peach Mimosa. It was ok. For my meal I did an omelette. It was delicious! I usually get French Toast but today I didn't want a lot of carbs. It came with home fries and toast. My husband had the Shrimp and Grits with a croissant. He was not a fan of the shrimp and grits. I wasn't either. We've had our share of various versions of this dish at other restaurants and this was not it! However, the croissant was delicious! Our service was great as usual. And, we always enjoy this place so we'll be back!
